Grandpa was a General Practitioner whose hobbies were violins (woodworking) and photography. He made a violin for each of his children and most of his grandchildren.

Dad was an excellent violinist and was a music instructor at Oberlin College in Ohio. He was also an Industrial Engineer for US Steel and choir director of our church.
